PMI Chapter BiH has organized the first conference on project management called BiH PMI Forum and it was held on the 13th of September 2019. This one-day conference aimed to promote the importance of project management in all areas of business. BiH PMI Forum 2019 was a great opportunity to celebrate 50 years of turning ideas into reality by Project Management Institute listening to interesting lectures held by successful regional and international project managers.

App Impact had the honor to support the organization of the first BIH PMI forum with our GatherUp! Event Management Platform. The Platform is comprised of several integrated applications, including a web portal with extensive administration capabilities, mobile apps – ensuring attendees have all the information about the conference in their pocket, Attendance scanner and Sponsor Companion app.

Speakers at the conference were prominent members of PMI Chapter BiH: Meliha Arslanagić and Adem Muminagić, and project managers with enviable experience in the region: Miroslav Aničin from Serbia, Stanislav Strešnjak from Croatia and the keynote speaker was respected Merete Munch Lange from Norway, the regional PMI mentor for the region 8 North West. The planed topics were interesting and worth to hear. In addition to the conference day, there was organized pre-conference day on the 12th of September, with a one-day workshop facilitated by esteemed Nenad Trajkovski. The topic of the workshop was Recovery Project Management.

BiH PMI Forum was an excellent opportunity for a strategic alliance, increasing the recognition and realization of new business opportunities.
