Western Balkans ESG Summit 2023 was held in April at Porto Montenegro marking a significant milestone as the first major regional gathering dedicated to sustainable development and fostering dialogue on the business sector's increased responsibility regarding environmental, social, and governance standards (ESG) in practice.

With over 450 attendees from more than 150 companies, governments, and organizations, the Summit became a hub for discussions on the implications of ESG for "The Business of the Future" in the Western Balkans. Keynote presentations, interactive panel discussions, and workshops covered critical ESG themes such as sustainable finance, green transition, and green innovation.

Organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and Bloomberg Adria, the Summit underscored the importance of forward-thinking technologies and future business models. It allowed attendees the opportunity to join focused workshops on emerging sustainability regulations or standards and tools for the best ESG business performance.
