ESG Adria Summit 24 will take place in Porto Montenegro from 24th to 26th April 2024. The event is organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro, in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and under the auspices of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
It will bring together business leaders, high-level government, international organizations, civil society representatives, and sustainability experts from the Adria region and beyond to tackle pressing regional issues and provide practical solutions for businesses embracing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
Summit’s 2024 will cover three main themes:
- Sustainable Finance (ESG trends and regulations, Emerging regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements, Transition finance, Climate-nature nexus: Implications for the financial sector, Technology, and innovation as a driver of sustainable finance EU Sustainable Finance Action Plan implementation - experiences from the Adria region)
- Green Transition (just transition, Renewable energy ecosystem, E- mobility, Smart buildings and cities, Circular economy, Biodiversity and nature, Climate litigation and liability, Sustainable tourism, AI-driven innovations towards a greener future)
- Social License to Operate (Business as a driver of social change, Human rights standards, Regulation and compliance requirements, Mission investing, strategic evaluation and creating shared value, Community impact, Supply chain due diligence, Gender equality, Communicating ESG to stakeholders)
Building on the success of the last years Western Balkans ESG Summit 2023, ESG Adria Summit 24 brings keynotes, panels, and workshops that will all focus on regional issues and practical solutions to empower businesses to set and achieve their ESG objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.
